Releasing
Neck and Shoulder Workshop
Have you ever felt like you were carrying
the weight of the world on your shoulders? Learn poses to incorporate into
your personal Hatha practice. As we learn ways to respond to and release stress
that has built up in the body, we can then counter the body's negative reaction
to stress. Releasing tension held in the neck and shoulders can bring new
freedom of movement in many poses, more ease to the entire body and in turn
peace to the mind.

Chair Yoga
Do you spend too much time sitting—in the
office, at a computer, in traffic, in cramped
airplane seats? The body was not designed
for this extended sitting, and the result is
often stiffness and fatigue, contributing to
depression and a desire of stimulants such
as sugar and caffeine. This workshop will
focus on some simplified Hatha Yoga
postures and breathing practices, including
sun salutations, all done while seated in a
chair. Learn how taking a 5 or 10-minute
‘Yoga’ break at your desk, can relax and
energize your body, and bring more focus
and concentration to your work. No
experience is necessary for this workshop.
