Hatha 1 Teacher Training Program
Our Teacher Training program has been training teachers and changing lives for over twenty-five years. Integral Yoga was a founding member of the Yoga Alliance (the national organization of Yoga teachers), and our Hatha 1 Teacher Training program fulfills the requirements for certification at the Yoga Alliance 200-hour level.

Integral Hatha Yoga
Integral Yoga uses an inward, spiritually-focused form of Hatha Yoga to lead students to an experience of their true Self. To prepare teachers to lead students inward, our Teacher Training program offers a balance of theory and practice on a broad range of topics.

The Teacher Training program offers thorough training in asana, pranayama, meditation, philosophy, and anatomy and physiology. It also includes many hours of training in teaching methodology, including how to make corrections, teach workshops, and more.

Retreat
The three-day Yoga retreat is an opportunity to delve deeper into your personal practice, and to connect with the other trainees. The retreat is held at the beautiful Commonweal Retreat Center in Bolinas, CA. Situated on sacred Native American healing grounds on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, this an unforgettable time spent reconnecting with your spirit.

Support and Community
Our Teacher Training program leads trainees on a time-tested journey to greater self-knowledge, with the support of a vibrant and well-respected spiritual community. The Integral Yoga Institute also offers mentorship and ongoing training to our graduates.

The Curriculum
The curriculum includes instruction in teaching Hatha Yoga postures, workshops to deepen your personal practice, classes in diet and nutrition, anatomy and physiology, Raja Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation, and workshops to deepen your practice. Graduates receive a certificate to teach Beginner Level Hatha Yoga.

Dates: Monday, August 18, 2008 to Monday, November 10, 2008.

Time: Classes meet on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:00pm – 9:00pm, and Saturdays from 9:00am – 5:00pm. Program includes a three-day residential Yoga retreat at Commonweal Retreat Center in Bolinas, CA from September 5 – 7.

Tuition: $2500 – includes all classes, retreat, lunch on Saturdays, manual, books, and unlimited drop-in classes during the program.
Application fee: Please submit your application with a $50 application fee. This fee is non-refundable, but is used towards your total tuition. Payment plans are available.
