Community

A traditional Hatha Yoga class taught by our new teachers. By donation. Great for beginners or continuing students.

Deep Relaxation

A by-donation class which leads you through an extended Yoga Nidra, a full-body guided meditation of relaxation of body, mind, and spirit.

Gentle

This class is appropriate for anyone new to yoga, seniors, and people with injuries, disabilities or illnesses – or anyone who wants a more gentle experience. We will follow the basic Integral Yoga format of poses, relaxation, breathing, and meditation, but modifications to the basic poses are offered. Everyone welcome.

Level I

For students interested in the traditional yoga class. A comprehensive, balanced class with a steady flow, relaxation between poses, and guided instruction throughout. First-time students are welcome.

Level I/II

For students interested in exploring a transition from Level I to Level II. New poses will be introduced, and others will be held longer to deepen the experience. Students attending this class should be comfortable with Integral Yoga Level I and have some knowledge of Sanskrit names of poses. Great for continuing students.

Level II

For students who are experienced with the Integral Yoga class format and are ready to move at a faster pace. New poses, including peacock (mayurasana) and headstand (shirshasana), and purification techniques (kriya) will be introduced. This class has less instruction and less relaxation between poses; poses are held longer for an experience at a deeper level.

Level II/III

For more experienced students who are comfortable with the Level II classes and are able to maintain a rigorous practice. New and more difficult poses will be introduced and poses will be held longer, including regular inversions and more advanced breathing exercises. Not for those new to Level II.

Meditation

Free and open to all. Join us for meditation, which includes chanting, breathing exercises and sitting in silence.

Restorative

This class focuses on relaxation and stress-reduction. Supported poses will be used to lead into a quiet, inward experience. No experience necessary.

Yin

Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not exercised very much in the more active, Yang, styles of yoga.
